परीक्षा का विवरण और मानदंड

The Practitioner Exam asks one thing: show that you can read honestly and usefully for another person. You have practised on yourself through three courses; now the cards must serve someone else's question.

What you submit

Three readings, each for a different person who agreed to be read for. For each reading you give:

  • The person, by first initial only. Never a full name, a phone number or a birth date. The examiners do not need to know who they are.
  • The question as the person asked it, and the question as you shaped it with them, if you reframed it.
  • The spread and the cards drawn, in position order, with reversals marked. If you drew the reading on TarotPandit, paste its link from your reading history; the examiners can then see the draw.
  • Your written reading, at least 300 words: what you told the person, in the words you would put in a written report.

The rubric

Each reading is read against five measures.

  1. Faithful to the cards. Every claim in the reading can be traced to a card, its position, or the relationship between cards. Nothing is invented around them.
  2. A clear question. The question is open, belongs to the person, and was reframed where needed: about their own choices, not about another person's private mind, not a diagnosis, not a verdict on a legal case.
  3. Ethics. Difficult cards are spoken without fear. Health, money and legal matters point to attention and to the right professional. Nothing in the reading makes the person depend on the reader.
  4. Synthesis. The cards are joined into one account: a spine, a turning point, and the advice the spread as a whole gives.
  5. A path. The reading ends with at least one concrete step the person can take this week.

How the review works

The Academy reads every submission. You will see its status on the exam page: received, passed, or returned with notes. A returned submission is not a failure; read the notes, revise, and submit again. A pass issues your Practitioner certificate, which anyone can verify at its own address on this site.

Exercise

Before you begin, choose your three people and write one line for each: what they want to understand, and why a reading might help. If you cannot write that line, choose someone else.
