The Ace of Wands tarot card meaning is the first spark of creative fire: an idea, a venture or a desire with life in it. The card shows a hand issuing from a grey cloud and gripping a living wand that sprouts fresh shoots, while eight loose leaves drift through the air above a castle, a river and green country. Upright it is creation and enterprise; reversed it is a spark delayed or a joy clouded.
