Turned over, the card shows a bond under strain. One cup has dipped: one person gives and the other withholds, or pride has replaced courtesy, or a small misunderstanding has been allowed to harden. Sometimes it marks a partnership entered too quickly, on attraction alone, whose terms were never spoken. In business it can be a contract out of balance. The serpents are still on the staff and the house is still on the hill, so the bond is strained and still standing. Restore the level: one honest conversation about what each person needs, and one concrete gesture that matches the other's.
